הָב֥וּ לַיהוָ֖ה כְּב֣וֹד שְׁמ֑וֹ שְׂא֤וּ מִנְחָה֙ וּבֹ֣אוּ לְפָנָ֔יו הִשְׁתַּחֲו֥וּ לַיהוָ֖ה בְּהַדְרַת־קֹֽדֶשׁ׃
Schreibe dem HERRN die Herrlichkeit zu, die seinem Namen gebührt; Bring ein Opfer und komm vor ihn; Bete den Herrn in der Schönheit der Heiligkeit an.

Ascribe to the Lord the glory of His name His name is אֲדֹנָי, and He is the Lord (אָדוֹן) of all. That is the meaning of “Ascribe to the Lord the glory of His name,” because like His name, so is His praise.
